We're pleased to offer the following services at Sycamore Veterinary Hospital
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. By staffing 4 doctors everyday, our goal is to be able to see our patients within 24 hours. Sometimes because of a full schedule, this may require you to leave your pet with us so we can triage, examine, and treat your pet that day.
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such as a traumatic event like being hit by car, or bitten by a snake or poisionings such as chocolate ingestion, rat poison, and sugarfree gum. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call. Calling before you arrive, allows us to prepare for the emergency, and guide you as to what is best for your pets longterm needs.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our veterinarians and staff will accommodate you and your pet in a timely manner.
